A native of New York City, he graduated from Yale College and Johns Hopkins Medical School. Dr. Voglmaier obtained her BA, MD, and PhD from Johns Hopkins, where she worked with Dr. Solomon Snyder. Dr. Voglmaier has received numerous awards and grants, including a Whitehall Foundation Research Grant, a NARSAD Young Investigator Award, and the Sandler Program for Breakthrough Biomedical Research Opportunity Award.
