The national Tourette Syndrome Association requests applications for its 2011 grant cycle. The TSA funds clinical and scientific research in all areas of the disorder.

IMPORTANT DATES

Pre-Proposal Deadline: Oct. 1, 2010

Proposal Deadline: Nov. 23, 2010

Award Announcement: Mar. 2011

HOW TO APPLY

Please submit a pre-proposal by Oct. 1, 2010. This will be reviewed and, if found to fit within our funding aims and criteria, we’ll invite you to submit a full application. More information and application forms can be obtained on our website: http://tsa-usa.org/research.html.

AREAS OF PARTICULAR INTEREST INCLUDE:

  • Pathophysiology
  • Animal models
  • Neuropathology
  • Neurobiology
  • Clinical trials
  • Pharmacology
  • Surgical treatment
  • Behavioral therapy

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Investigators are required to have an advanced degree, such as a Ph.D., M.D., etc.
  2. Applications from overseas investigators are welcome.
  3. Investigators from non-profit and for-profit organizations can apply.

FUNDING LEVEL

Research Grants
Up-to $75,000 1 Year

Training Fellowships
Up-to $40,000 1 Year
